Mapping 4 Decks...

Postby deanobirko on 04 Oct 2013, 12:46

Im having major headaches trying to map the U-Mix Control Pro 2 so that decks A + B control vinyl and Decks C + D control MIDI (Using the jogs)

Basically, I can get some functionality but I lose all my lights when using the controller. I need the upfaders to control A+C and B+D at the same time, which I am able to program myself.

I am losing my Cue / Play / Sync light and anything else related to decks C+D.

Does anyone have a mapping for this set up that I could use?

Try the attached map with the UMCP-2. See what it does 1st and then modify away to your preferences.

Shift Hi switch decks
Shift Mid enables pad 5-8.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. I did try that but I dont like the whole deck switching thing... Is there a way of having the MIDI jogs and play/sync/pause buttons JUST controlling the C+D Decks? I dont ever want the A+B to be controlled via the jogs...

Simply edit the file from within Cross after importing,
all you need to do is clear the according MIDI assignments.

if you look at the mapping, go to player a and then clear the remove the jog-mapping.

Im not at home at the moment. Does your mapping file sync the lights on the unit too?
