Using "Tap" to correct bpm (resolved )

Postby acemc on 10 Aug 2013, 21:48

I tried to use the "tap" method of correcting a track's bpm last night, all started off normal. The bpm changed from 86 to 128 (which was correct). Thereafter I noticed a yellow square around the bpm which was flashing in time to the beat. After a couple of flashes it went right back to 86bpm (which is way off). Does anyone know what I did wrong or if there is a setting I need to change?

Hello,

While BPM is flashing, you should see "OK" below the value. Click on it with your mouse or use the event "fam(Player)[0xN].ConfirmTappedTempo" in your MIDI mapping if you want to handle it with a MIDI controler (where "N" represents the Deck 1,2,3 or 4)

Damn that 'ok' button is so small I didn't even see it there!
Thanks for your help, I won't forget that again.
One thing though, CrossDJ user manual really requires a serious update. Thanks again!
