use with Hercules Mk4

I have just changed my computer and am trying to run Cross DJ 2.4.0
Unfortunately although it appears to recognise my Hercules Mk4 it does not accept any controls. I have tried reloading/ starting Cross DJ with Hercules attached and also starting computer with it attached. No response
What could I be doing wrong please

I use the Hercules 4-Mx with Cross,

First of all make sure you have the latest driver package from Hercules. A new one was released a few weeks ago

Download and install

Go into the MIDI tab and choose the MK4 in the MIDI controller list. Move a slider or press a button and see if the tab goes green.

Also you need to set CrossDJ to use the MK4 ASIO soundcard. Please see the image below. It is done with a earlier version of Cross but the audio set up is still the same

From the Soundcard drop down you need to choose the option

"Hercules DJ Console MK4 ASIO"
