Re: Pioneer DDJ SX mapping

Postby LaurentB_4_0 on 23 Apr 2013, 11:26

Hi,

Just want you to know that I have made a rather advanced mapping for DDJ-SX that handles almost everything, hot cues, loops, FXs, pitch, beat grid edition, ... with leds (except the jogs)

I need to work on the Sampler but it should be released soon.

Send me MP for further details

I'm still trying to handle 14bits knob/faders. Could someone support me ? I've seen <fourteenbits> tag in an existing CrossDJ mapping but I do not understand how it works

Regards

Laurent

Wait next update for a clean mapping, we are on it.
Bug found and repaired on some 14 bits commands.

I've just started on a new mapping for my DDJ SX as I only had one gig this week so had a little more time.
There are still a few things not mapped yet but all the main futures are mapped and most have led feedback

will let you play with your DDJ SX and CrossDJ untill it gets native suport

Added the mapper to first post

Very Very good job ...
But I advise you to stop there where you are.

you'll be able to enjoy yourself more with the new version of Cross ... and you inspire the official mapping ... ;)

Hehe now thats good only think I'd really like added to next version is key detection and key in deck info later would be enough as I already have Mixed in key

and would be grate if my mapper is inspireing the offical mapping so I want have to make any changes to how I like it to be :D

I don't have the video plugin yet but I have ideas how to map it.
