as i really started to get annoyed, i decided to reset my system. it works for now, i am slowly reinstalling all the programs and constantly checking if mixvibes crashes.
So my crahs issues seem to be gone, but hd video performance is still pretty bad. can anybody report succesful hd video playback/scratching with Cross? or is it just too heavy? or is my system too weak?
What do you call HD ? 720p ? 1080i ? 1080p ? I have no issues with these in MIDI mode with a Q6600+9500GT+8Gb ram (pretty old setup).
Timecode add some load on the system, and recording add a lot of it. So don't expect to scratch HD files in timecode and record them without a killer setup.
EDIT : I only use mjpeg or H264 files re-encoded files with high keys frames.
With HD I was referring to everything with at least 720p resolution. How do you add KEyframes to your videos? I guess Clips downloaded from youtube don't contain lots of them
I just converted a youtube clip to MJPEG using Eyeframe converter http://eyeframe.tk/ and it works flawlessly! Its a small and lightweight converter especially designed to be used with Lightworks software. But the converted Files can also be used straight in Mixvibes!
