Hi there, I use Cross 2.4 & video Plugin 1.1.1 with timecode control.
When I move the record forward on my turntable everything works fine, even when i move it very slow.
But Scratching or moving backwards causes some issues!
When moving the record backwards, it moves the video back some frames - then shortly stops while the record is still getting moved backwards - then suddenly jumps to the actual position and moves some frames and so on and so on.
When scratching it is often skipping frames.
This happens either with 24fps 720p mp4 youtube videos and 720p 60fps h.264 footage from my dslr.
The audio is NOT affected by this! Its just the video that lags behind.
my system specs:
win 8 pro, 8gb Ram, Core i5 3210m, Nvidia NVS5400m (optimus) , Audio 4 DJ, external 22" full HD Monitor via connected via vga
some updates:
- the issue is independently of the speed at which the record is being moved. moving slowly, normal or fast backwards didnt make any difference
- happens also if no external monitor is connected, internal mixvibes screen shows the same issues
- increasing my audio latency didnt help
- problem is independent of the graphics card, happens with intel onboard and dedicated nvidia
- when recording video, even at 240p, the encoder soon starts to miss frames (a warning pops up), when i hit stop, mixvibes instantly crashes
-when launching mixvibes windows explorer jumps to 30% cpu, i have to manually restart it to get its cpu usage back to normal
-mixvibes' cpu usage doesen't exceed 40% when using hd video
BIG UPDATE
with a 360p video it works just fine! so this seems to be some kind of performance/encoding issue.
recording anyway still misses frames and crashes when hitting "stop"
Any help is appreciated!
