2.4.0 Cross DJ - Facing Same Problem as 2.3.1

Hi Guys,

Love the update... the sync mode is tighter than before.... Cheers to that.

Laptop still gets vert heated in 5 min ... when Video Plugin is working.

Still the LED lights on the Vfx Controller don't come up Fully. Only MT works when its connected. As i press other buttons...few LEDs work but not all .

The RiGHT jog PITCH BEND works but i cannot SCRATCH even on Vinyl mode on the RIGHT DECK. The LEFT DECK is perfect. After the 2.3.1 UPDATE this problem is there & now continues in 2.4.0 . Pls chk your mapping given to us, that everything works. There was no such problem in 2.3.0 .

Everything else is fine. . Just need to FINE TUNE with UPDATES.

Try to SYNC both the PITCH BEND when we move only Deck A or B... So both stay in SYNC at ALL TIMES. Dont have to keep pressing SHIFT+ SYNC when we increase the TRACK BPM on 1 DECK. Both should move.

Try COLOUR WAVEFORMS for BASS, MID & HIGHS for us to identify easily at a glance.

Your RIGHT jog problem sounds like a simple mapping issue.
What controller are you using, is it natively supported?

Try to SYNC both the PITCH BEND when we move only Deck A or B... So both stay in SYNC at ALL TIMES. Dont have to keep pressing SHIFT+ SYNC when we increase the TRACK BPM on 1 DECK. Both should move.

If you have "link" selected in the preferences the track will be linked to whichever deck is the MASTER & will follow the MASTER tempo changes. If pressing shift + sync is changing the MASTER deck, then I think you're after a "GLOBAL LINK". This is how Serato's "smart sync" works. Where all the decks are tied to one another, therefore no matter which deck's pitch is changed, they all change. There are pros & cons to that way of syncing.
Perhaps make a feature request for it, I'd use it from time to time.

Concerning the sync scheme, pitch bend is used to correct the delay of a player to another. Then having the pitch bend actions on the master propagated to the slaves seems a bit strange... I can't see in which situation you want this behavior (feel free to share your experience), but i guess it can be a feature request.

Colored waveforms have been requested for a quite long time, it'll come.

By "pitch bend" I'm pretty sure he actually means "pitch change". What VDj Sean T is asking for is that once sync is turned on, no matter which deck's pitch you adjust the decks pitch will change & still stay in sync. Currently only the "master" pitch can be changed when sync is on. If pitch "bend" was synced there would be no way to push or pull your track into proper alignment.

Thanks for the reply , but can the team pls sought the scratch mode mapping to the right deck of the Vfx CONTROLLER i have. . or how do i alter the original mapping given ???? for Vfx & Cross with VIDEO. I dont mind doin it if someone can tell me how to . The right JOG shows the + & - movement on the software when trying to SCRATCH ...but the WAVE form does not move when SCRATCHING back & forth, only the + & - gets highlighted when using SCRATCH MODE.

Do something pls. I have shows every week & my problem is not sough-ted out yet. Only the right deck has this problem of SCRATCH mode but the pitch bend works ... This was ever since the 2.3.1 came out & now even 2.4.1.

If you switch to scratch mode on the GUI, does the jog now scratch ?

I have tried the vinyl mode and also scratch button on the controller. Still does not scratch. But it shows the+ & - highlights when moving the jog.
