Cross crash on load only with U46 plugged in

everytime I open Cross with the U46 plugged in the software crashes at the splash screen.

What I've done

uninstall/reinstall Cross and asio4all
verified sound card by loading DVS 7.4rc. it ran fine with cd time code @256ms latency

verified Cross by using a different sound card (m-audio fasttrak 1x1) with asio4all driver. the software worked fine and doesn't crash at launch.

deleted C:\username\application data\mixvivbes folder

tried opening with a new collection

all of these things failed so i'm stumped it's just strange that only the U46 would cause it to crash anything other setup and it's working fine.

...User error I've never noticed it but Asio4all was set to force 44.1 to 48khz I unchecked this option and it's working fine now.
