how to set up ddm 4000 mixer with m-audio's uno MIDI controller
and my u46 mk2 audio interface. in external mode

you will have to set it up with internal mixer in Cross to use MIDI on the ddm 4000
the ddm 4000 will only do audio or MIDI ....not audio and MIDI at the same time

this is how I would set it up ..
plug the m-audio uno to your ddm 4000 by 6 pin MIDI input and output plugs ...the other end of the m-audio uno go's to your p.c by USB

in Cross ...go to MIDI set-up page to see if you see the m-audio uno as a MIDI device
if yes...set up the ddm 4000 for MIDI...then move a fader or knob on the ddm 4000 and see if the m-audio device go's green ..
if yes ,you are all good to start mapping or use the ddm 4000 midi-map in Cross

now for the audio ( I would not have any audio going to the mixer )
I would have all my audio going in and out off the u46dj sound card
