Headphones (cue) not working with Denon MC3000

Postby koelman87 on 03 Mar 2013, 20:22

Hi everyone,

I just bought myself a Denon MC3000 and received a copy of CrossDJ LE (2.3.1) with it. I really like to try out this piece of software to determine which of the bundled software I will update (also received and trying Traktor already).

Now the issue is that with Traktor (also LE) everything is working just fine, but with CrossDJ, I can't get my cue through my headphones. I've tried several options, also the ones I found on this forum, but none of them solves the problem.

In preferences, I can select Direct Sound: Speakers (MC3000) or ASIO: Denon DJ Asio Driver.

Selected Routing Mode is Dual Stereo.

With Direct sound selection, the only output (1,2 or 3) option I have is Left/Right, so I can't put my cue through another output than my speakers.

With ASIO selected, I can select MC3000 1 / MC3000 2 or MC3000 3 / MC 3000 4 at input and output, but I can't load any tracks to one of the desks and I will receive an error which is saying to check my audio settings.

As said before, I tried all options (output modes, routing modes) but did still not manage to get it working.

Hope you guys can help out!

I guess you want

ASIO: Denon DJ Asio Driver.

Output 1&2 - Main Output
Output 3&4 - Headphones

Routing mode - Dual Stereo

It should be as simple as that really.

Can you do a screen shot(s) please

Sure!

This is with the ASIO drivers set up:

However, when I try to load a track, I receive this error:

Then, this is with the Speakers (MC3000) set up. This will result in getting (master) sound out of the speakers, but no sound out of my headphones (cue).

PS. Sorry about the links, can't get the images in properly.

This looks about right

Try selecting the 44100hz option. At the moment it's set to 48000hz.

Then close and re-open Cross

Jim, thanks so far.

Unfortunately, the MC3000 only works with 48kHz and cannot be changed. (quoted from Denon...)

Also, when I select AISO driver as audio device in Traktor, sounds stop working and I can't load any tracks.

It seams like the AISO driver is causing trouble somehow.

If you get a similar error in Traktor too, then I would say it must be the ASIO driver.

There are reports that Denon ASIO Drivers are sh!t.

Have you got the latest ASIO Driver installed?

The only workaround I can think of, is to try ASIO4ALL

Go into the Windows audio preferences and remove any MC3000 as a default device (playback/record tabs).

AU SECOURS

avec Vfx controler === impossible d'avoir une écoute au casque des CUE pistes A et B séparées

Le Cross fader garde la main et passe devant la sélection du CUE headphone.

SVP une réponse vite souhaité avant sono du Week.
