Purchase download files"Update to Cross"corrupt MyCommerce

Hello all,

Before this weekend I decided to upgrade to the full version of MixVibes CrossDJ en purchased it online. After purchasing the “Upgrade to Cross” (version 2.3.1 at this time) software via the MixVibes site and downloading the software from the MyCommerce site (Dutch distributor). The downloaded files do not extract/install.

I was provided with a new download link and the License Key (Serial number), but the files that I downloaded are corrupt and cannot be extracted.

First my solution(workaround):
-> Copy the Licence Key from the Purchase conformation.
-> Login with your MixVibes account on the MixVibes site
-> Register this key in: User Control Panel>Profile>Serial number (form field)


Now I was able to download the latest CrossDJ release from MixVibes site itself :D

The story of what I experienced before the solution:
The downloaded files seem to be corrupted every single time.
• I’ve downloaded the package on 3 different Windows 7 machines
• Using the browsers IE and Firefox),
• all the downloaded packages couldn’t be extracted or install the updates.

I also tried opening the files with 3 different Extraction programs (Windows native extractor, WinZip and WinRAR) All of these programs give different error causes.

The hunt for support:
After contacting MyCommerce Europe by phone they provided me with a new hyperlink which gave the same result. (In my opinion it’s extremely hard to get any support on this issue, while there is no contact information of MixVibes available other than the forum itself)

The response on my direct e-mail to support@mixvibes.com was in brief:
“Dear Customer,

We kindly ask you to make your Support inquiries at the following address:

Unfortunately the weekend I was still in the LE- mode. I was a little disappointed because I was purchasing the software for a public performance that weekend.

I hope the download files at MyCommerce will be replaced.

Also the text in the Dutch translation for providing the License key on the Purchase conformation should be altered:
Licentiecode voor het vrijschakelen van het product. (OK)
Voor het product wordt een licentie verleend aan "XXX". (OK)
Houd er rekening mee dat u verder niets per post ontvangt. (OK)

Lisensnøkkelen til aktivering av produktet er: (This isn’t Dutch at all, some kind of Scandinavian language?)
