pay for vst plug in support (like video plug in)

Postby dj_cross_fade on 19 Feb 2013, 03:11

this would be a plug in that if you dont want it just dont buy it .
this plug in would be a place to hold a 2ed fx area only for vst's.
i have been saying this for abit now i would love support for vst's
but not all of you do . so i came up with this.
i would say make it a payed upgrade . i dont mind supporting mixvibes with abit more cash . this would let me take my fav vst's Kjaerhus Audio Classic Series or korg fx (mind you korg or not free)but i use them all the time.
or even my fav vinyl fx iZotope Vinyl which sounds great when scratching it gives it abit of a warmer feel. there is even a 4 band eq i love and use in acid pro that i have used in the past to DJ with and have had no probs with .

these would be MIDI assignable :D just like they or in Ableton Live 8
i stream my mixes and Gameplay at http://www.hitbox.tv/MediaHeadzTv
at Hitbox.tv you get no copy right strikes and im working on making a DJ community there

If we just open a door and not giving VST or VSTI effects I don't see why the users should have to pay?
In the next developments of CrossDJ, after some massive updates scheduled?
+1 if it's just a free open door. Or a feature for CrossDJ 3

VST ? Some of them are poorly coded, stability issue in sight.

VST or VSTI some works very well, much better than our local effects. Yes some are poor... But it's up to the users to buy the right one.

A lot of things that are (supposed to be) up to the user are finishing over the forum and we need to handle them because the user don't understand what he is doing.

I can already see from here :
- vst installation folder
- vst vs. vst 2 vs. vst3
- vst 64bits
- vst 32bits into 64bits OS
and so on...

Not so simple... And not necessary clear for the user if the host crashes cause of the VST...
