Vfx = MAC

Postby VDj Sean T on 07 Aug 2012, 13:57

Dear Mixvibes,

I have 2 queries

1. Is there a firmware update for the Vfx Control on a MAC
2. When is the MAC version of Vfx coming out?

Regards,

VDj Sean T :)

No.
Never.

Vfx via Bootcamp is not supported due to poor result on the video quality (tearing). You're on your own on the Mac path.

What we won't do on Vfx is done or will be done on the video plug in.

And nobody joke.

You should wake up, there is now a video plugin for Cross that also work on Mac. Vfx will be old story in some times...

Hi,

I knew it. It breaks my heart.
No Vfx in the future - please, please, please, logo
and text overlays in the Vido PlugIn for the live act.
The RC version 1.1. works perfectly, MP4 tags
be read cleanly and the recording function
is madness. This should be unique Mixvibes.
Let's face it, was already unique DVS.

I Should wake up? I have been a Serato User 9 years and Mix Emergency 3 years, I DJ in 3 MAJOR night clubs in Vancouver, I use a MAC not a PC, I have been testing out CrossDj with the Video plug-in, the problem is I cant do any "Vfx" (logo and text overlays) because its not supported on my $2000 Mac rather then a $200 PC. So before you reply with "you should wake up" I think you should wake up and read the question properly before you answer so rudely.

Im very impressed with this DJ software, i would like to continue using it.

Thanks MixVibes.

The video plug- in for Cross has only been out for about 6 weeks now
Where Vfx has been out over 3 years....

You just have to wait for Cross video to catch up to Vfx ..maybe in 2 or 3 updates you will see text overlay and logo

As for serato video ..Cross video works better than serato video on p.c
And Mac ....and ..at least you get up-dates ....
I.v been waiting for a real up-dates for serato video for about 3 years
That why all the serato video user are all using M.E now...

M.E the best ....one dope video software

I didn't want to sound rude, but you seems to hope there will be something new for Vfx, like a version for MAC : there won't be.

Vfx is now dead and that mean there won't be any new update/developement on it.
Labor has been reported to the plugin that out of the box works ten time better than Vfx.

I see there is a lot of hostility in this forum. I for one are irritated because i found out that i have to upgrade my ram so i can really use the video plug-in because i only have 3 gigs or ram and because of that i have to spend over 100 dollars to be able to operate the video mixing smoothly.
I did now know that the program only lets you use 60% of the computers total memory. I stay in a state where everything is expensive California. Good thing that i am still looking for music videos while i save up for my ram that i need. I understand that you DJ's are getting a little Impatient because of all the bells and whistles that Vfx does will be transfered in Cross Video plugin in due time. It is true about the issues with mac and stuff there is no way around that so just deal with it. I am. The Mixvibes team is doing all they can as fast as they can. I have seen this program grow so much since i first purchased this program. Keep up the good work, I believe in this Company!
