Halve and double loop commands

Postby FigDJ on 26 Jan 2013, 00:54

Pardon my ignorance as I am new to CrossDJ.

I did a search trying to find out more about the halve and double loop commands but I did not find adescription.

I mean I know what halve and double loop commands should be but where are they?
Is there a button that i should be seeing in the interface?
Or, is it just refer to new MIDI commands available and maplable to a controller.

In other software I have the commands available in the interface as button.

I did downloaded and verified that I am using CrossDJ 2.3.0

Please enlight me.

There's a + and - next to the looplengths, try that.

Thank you for your prompt response.Ahh Now is clear.
Perhaps obvious to you but just to check my understanding I am making couple statements below and please correct me if I am wrong.

While selecting a loop lenght before activation you can select any loop lenght with the + or - including the new 1/3 loop.

While the loop is activated the + and - halves or doubles the loop loop acting as multiple or divisor of 2.

Thanks

You could start Cross and try that yourself ;)
But

1) Yes
2) Yes, BUT not when you did select 3/4 in 1) than you only have the option to decrease it to 1/3 which is not the halve of 3/4

You can also set manual loops via the In and Out Button
