denon mc6000 mapping

Postby Dj-Pawwa on 05 Jan 2013, 01:02

hi, i want to use the jog of my denon mc6000 as all the touch jog in this world world
now i wil explain
if i touch the center of the jog (the part that is touch sensitive) i will scratch but if i touch the edges of the jog (the part where the jog isn't touch sensitive) i will do a normal pitch-bend
is it possible? i'm really tired of push every two seconds the button to switch between vinyl and bend and i want to use those buttons for filter on-off

thanks, Alessio

You have the wrong jog type selected.

Try using the Combo Jog. Inside select 'touch'

There are two events - you'll specify the 'touch' to the MIDI value sent when you touch the platter and then 'move' to the value sent when you move the platter.

You'll need to set the backward/forward and other settings to get them working the way you want, but this should fix up the issue.

The other option is to set the 'touch' to vinyl mode but have it set so that the value is only engaged while you hold it down. This is an interesting 'kludge' to make it work, but not the most elegant solution in the world.
