I'm using ALAC instead... Sorry...

But IIRC, Vorbis and FLAC use the same tagging... I was wondering if this was an issue for both, or just FLAC...


I seem to remember them saying it's on the list or in the next release somewhere... but I can't find the thread now... hmmmm....

It might have been when I was searching on flac tagging someplace else... it's a blurr here lately. Working long hours, coming home and trying to prep videos for a party next Friday, mapping my Xponent, trying to learn Cross DJ, and a lot more.... (including deploying a VDI environment, troubleshooting a network, dealing with idiot users who can't figure out how to change their password, supporting a voip phone system, and a lot more..)

If I can find it I'll let you know... - but no promises...

Edit: It must have been somewhere else, but I distinctly remember reading something about FLAC tags and next release, and stop bugging the developers or something.

Cross didn't save the BPM but my comments were.

- enable 'save tags'
- import file to Cross
- analyse file / play / edit tags
- quit Cross
- open Cross
- new collection
- import the same files (my comments are there but not my bpm)

What other tags are not saved by Cross ?

Hi support,

following tags are not saved:
bpm, key, remixer, group, mixname, color, label, org artist

edit:
released, disc number and rating also not

They're not handled by the format http://flac.sourceforge.net/faq.html#general__tagging

It will be more difficult to implement than expected I guess...

Isn´t it possible to integrate the Meta Flac "engine" somehow?
