You must understand that Asio used by the sound card under Windows is a lonesome process. When you have any other process using the sound card then the Asio is stopped and can generate the error message you received.
It could be anything like Skype running on background...

you are saying its set as default in windows ,,shouldnt be ,,put the comp sc as default and try that

hmmm i dont have skype but i will check if there is something similiar when i get home

oh i tho Cross DJ audio setup well i'll take screens and then we might have chance to get it work :3

umm i kinda hope i just didnt realise i dont have the comp speakers connected (monitor speakers?) and that might be the problem... so should that be the default device and something else default communication device (mic perhaps) at playback options?

just the computer sc as default in win audio panel ,, then open Cross with U-Mix connected and pwred up ,,see if that get you past the error

Things look normal threre but can you get a sound in direct X mode when you use the sound card? Like can you use it with youtube and listen it?

Ok but you aren't in Asio. Now check in the sound option if the input by default isn't U-Mix Control Pro. If it is change that.

set default to speakers ,not the one that check as default ,,,, if your computer has speakers then use that or use the headphone as default,,,as unc said the computer will use the default for all audio services ,,, by selecting the normal sc for window audio , that gives the use of the U-Mix sc to Cross , since its not being used by windows,,, i can play Cross on one screen of my set up and play windows media player on another ,,,,audio does work on both at same time because the M P uses the default and mixvibes Cross has the U-Mix sc chosen for its usage ,,, hope this helps
