It is directly soldered on the main PCB (not a daughter board). Don't know if we can provide it, but this small piece will be more expensive to send than its own value.

Not the same hardware between EQ pot and autoloop. The autoloop have "steps" and we don't have encoder as spare parts.

Opening up gear is a two-sided coin. I personally love to, and at least know what not to do, and right now I´m learning what to do But the moment you fu** up, the warranty is gone.

FYI, the U-Mix Control Pro 2 is really easy to open, just some screw and the main-pcb cable need to be removed. Then you could remove the main-pcb, unsolder the broken encoder and get replacement. |
Maybe you have a pc-store around that does repairs as well, they should at least have one technician thats graduated in "electronic engineering".

Avoid Apple Stores, especially the people there who claim to be "Geniuses" |

If I remember well, you don't need to change the whole piece (encoder). Only the 'axle' is broken, it is a piece that is stuck into a hole on top of the encoder. You can see it in your picture. The center part can be removed but you need to 'attach' the side to not extract the 2 elements (and some pcb too !!!) This is not our material, but just to give you a view. You can see the axle (white) and the encoder itself (black). Or may be some 'cold soldering' glue can do the trick with the axle.
