Vfx with Cdj's? plese help

To have the transport button back into the GUi simply click on the 'v control' tab under the master volume knob. It will deploy all the buttons in a row.

Concerning the MIDI mapping, the first thing to know is : does this button send MIDI ?
You can check with the bottom line that you can activate with display/info. When you trigg a command from the DJM you will see a code displayed at the bottom of the software, under the mediabase.

You can also look at the MIDI chart of the mixer or check with a 3rd party software like midiox.

ok as none of the djm buttons seem to be operating the software in learning mode...Can you advise how to hook up the cdj's? Previously ypu mention that you hook them us normal but theres hgotta be more to it than that.
That is how they are hooked up at present ( set of phonos out the back of the player into the mixer)but I must have to take a usb out of the back of the cdj's ??in order to send hid info?

Line outputs to mixer and usb to computer.

No the HID is very plug & play.

Yes of course. As soon as it will be done, Vfx will display popup windows with the HID devices name.

Gone into learning mode but not abe to configure any buttons on the djm 800. I assume that I should be able to use my faders on the Pioneer to manipulte the sound and video on mixvibes?
other problems are:

I now have mixvibes reading the cdj's ok, But am unable to turn on the visuliser? using the mouse?

Nasty clipping sound on the audio from the headphone jack thats plugged in

No sound output from the mixer. I have rca's out of the player and is playing from mixvibes which I can hear through the laptop speakers but not from my mixer output?. Not even a cue signal.

I assume too, but as long as we don't know if MIDI is received for sure into the application we won't go anywhere...

Check your gain into the software decks and onto your mixer.

I already told you ON THE FIRST PAGE (that you obviously didn't read) that you need to use the Pioneer ASIO driver, then select this driver as the audio device...
