Vfx with Cdj's? plese help

I am new to this software which i have installed and wish to marry up with my set-up which is
1xcdj900 1xcdj2000 (couldn't afford 2, 2000's!)1xdjm 800mixer
Question is I can't find anywhere showing me how to how to hook these up to the laptop to run the Vfx software
The prevoius person to ask about hooking up to cdj's were told to look in the manual which is less than useless in this department. I am really disspointed as am desperate to use this out but cant find info anywhere.
As far as I know i do not require time-coded cd's with these but thats all I know.
I would really appreciate a step by step guide or that's it I'll try and get a refund and opt for the serato,

- put both cdj into link mode
- hid will be detected into Vfx
- choose what deck is affected to what player

for the soundcard you've got the choice between wasapi or the Pioneer CDJ ASIO drivers.

Note : HID is only available into Vfx 1.3

thanks for your help, however...
I really could do with alot more info how to set-up the wire config. For starter's I plugged the cdj2000 in which was reconised by the software however most of the buttons did not corespond with the software but I am guessing that you need to go into learn mode to set-up each command?.
I could really do with a basic sketch maybe to show what wires go where?
Will I be able to hook the DJM800 up to mimic the crossfader in the software?

HID only works into Vfx 1.3 and you have nothing to learn, map or configure. Plug & play.

Just install the Pioneer asio drivers if you're not satisfied with wasapi.

The wiring is the same as normal cd deck :decks goes to mixer that's it.
You will need to map the DJM800 in order for it to work into MIDI. Simply connect your DJM to the computer : Vfx will see it into the MIDI devices.

So to be 100%
I'll plug the MIDI from my mixer into the usb in the laptop and mixvibes will detect the model and i can selct this from the prefrence menu.
Then plug the cdj's into the mixer using phono cable's. And link the players together? is this right?

There is no mapping for the DJM800 you will need to create one but the device will already be detected by the software.

Then plug the cdj's into the mixer using phono cable's. And link the players together? is this right?

The cd deck are linked to the LINE inputs of the mixer and doesn't need to be connected together.

Gonna get this sussed if it killls me!!!
I have attached the a MIDI out from the djm 800 and plugged in to the laptop. The software has detected the cable. I have followed the instructions in the manual and tried to rename it as instructed but get the message "incorrect path" arrrghh
is there a way of inserting a pic to this reply so I can show the set=up?.
Please help as I have a feeling this is gonna go on and on!!

What are you trying to do ? MIDI map the DJM800 ?
