Re: timecode issue

Hey,

inv means that the Left and right channel are inverted so they are swaped.
So disable both inv buttons for each deck and test to calibrate them new. Also check after disabling them how the sound is through Cross. YOu can go in the software and enable LINE IN so you route directly the vinyl signal to your mixer.

How sounds it? but attention it is realy loud so please lower your master output to your speakers to zero and move then when it plays slowly up to the point where you can hear the sound.

Also check if you have Balance knobs what happens when you move it to left and right. Are there still sounds or is one side silent?

regards
Christian

When you press calibrate, does nothing happen?

The decks are set to line - what is the mixer set to?

On the old Cross it calibrates to about 9% and on the new one it doesn't even calibrate them at all. yes the mixer is also set to line

You've got stereo issue check your head/stylus connection/wiring.
I have heard tons of times that everything is ok with regular vinyl but in fact it is not because one doesn't even notice that the stereo image is ruined due to bad wiring from the stylus.

Also if you're using the maya44 with a Vista/W7 64bits computer, check for updated drivers.

Did you fix this? I'm interested just because I see this occasionally and most of the time a restart of Cross and/or my laptop fixes it.

Ok so there is nothing wrong with the set up of the needles, they are both working fine, does anyone else have any ideas haha? i'm totally stumped, could it be the vinyls causing the problem as i have tried everything to get them working? or maybe a bug in the computer??
