Can't search a specific track on usb key(solved)

Postby rudydj66 on 20 Jul 2012, 21:52

Hello everyone!

I've got a little problem with Cross DJ 2.0.1 on a PC.

When I plug my usb key into the computer, Cross DJ recognizes it, sees my folders, but when I'm at the root of the key and that I type in the name of a DJ or a track in order to find it quickly, it looks like Cross DJ can't look through folders...

I need to be inside a specific folder in order to search something inside that same folder, not really convenient when I don't remember where every single track is...

Virtual DJ does that in a really good way, and I think it's kinda weird that Cross DJ doesn't...

Any help?

U might just have to have your tracks in the root dir on you key, not in multiple sub folders. ;)
Cheers

Perhaps, you should put your stick in the collection to do a whole search... Not sure, but it could work..

Well i suppose if you want to search for a track on your stick, make sure you have a rough idea of the folder the track lives ,in which you are searching for.

Is there a reason you dont have it imported and analysed within your computer anyways?

Well I put everything at the root of the key, and as my tracks are well tagged, no big deal...

thank you!

Cross need to parse the file to found the information.
Parsing a whole external device is not working. Cross is just parsing the selected folder.

You'd better use the collection, iTunes, the OS explorer/finder : it's not like there wasn't any alternative solution.
