Vfx Control - Great controller but can the sound be improved

I used my Vfx Control live for the first time last night at a local pub gig.

The controller and Cross worked fine together, but I did notice the sound, the music sounded flat (if you know what I mean). I needed to mess around with the EQ's on both the Vfx Control and the in house sound system to get it to a level and sound which I was happy with.

A couple of weeks before I used my Hercules 4-Mx on the that same system and the music sounded punchy but with the Vfx Control it didn't.

As a controller it is great but I feel it's lacking in the sound department (compared to my other controller)

Just out of interest, can any improvement's be made to the soundcard (in relation to the EQ)via a firmware update or something.

Just to add, I played at a bar in town last night with the Vfx Control on a different and newer sound system and I still had that "flat" sound.

It wasn't as bad but still disappointing.

This is why we have improved the U-Mix Control Pro in this area based on our experience and the users feedback from Vfx.
Unfortunately nothing can be done on the Vfx, it is just as it is...

Jim you can use the controller with your sound card as a MIDI controller it is well in bundle with Vfx

I know mate, I did consider using it with my Hercules Trim, but thats going against the idea of using a all in one controller. Plus it's another USB device to plug into my set up. I think 2 is enough

I think I'll stick with my 4-Mx.
