controller not coming online/reconized

nothing ventured /nothing gained had the same thought as i proceeded, in fact uninstalled the first root hub and it starting loading the driver before i could even uninstall the second..manged to get both of them uninstalled ,lost the hid function of the keyboard and shut down anyway,,,,some of your favorite words and worry well proceede with the start up didnt have lcd screen for keyboard ,,after aminiuite was able to typ in password for log in and waited for all programs to get on line and open Cross after turning on controller. connected fine but the test will be in reconnecting,,,,happy to be here would have had to go to job to get access and give/get a piece of mind time will tell, going to play with computer and check installation of other drivers again thank for the effort and info

ok, my brain worked, here´s what we do.

just run cmd as admin from the exploer and set a shutdown timer lke this:

shutdown -s -t xx [x is the time in seconds, maybe use 90 that should be enough to deinstall the hubs, and then wait for shutdown and boot again]

j-cut i have issues understanding and figuring out basic task on the computer,,not to say i am dumb but just comp illerate no way i would have been able to accomplish what you just suggested,,thanks for trying to give me a parachute

Four normal Cross/U-Mix Control Pro start ups fith failed ,,checked midi-ox,not reconized by that software and not listed in MIDI device tab,,, will keep working with it to get it resolved

Looks like a power issue. The device need more power I guess.
Some inputs :
- try a power adapter
- maybe the mainboard or the power unit of the computer is failing
- maybe the U-Mix Control Pro is dying

Sometimes, when a device starting having detection issue, like that, I simply flush all the usb devices from the registry. Look for MidiFixUtil into google and how to use it.
