this is a screen shot of it not playing correctly in the drop down menues where none is selected are there selections for the sc channels,, also is the box for using mixvibes devices at startup checked,,, just curious why are you using external mixer mode,,, i have U-Mix Control Pro and i think the one difference is the installed sc with the unit,,i think external mixermode is for routing the sc outputs to a mixer, since the U-Mix 2 is the MIDI controller connected by usb and your sc is also connected by usb, why are you trying to run in external i might be off base ,,do you remember what the sc config was when it functioned

Yeah. All checked and ready to use. If I select simple, duel or split, it recognises the Cross fader/volume part of the mixer, then when I click, external mixer, it doesn't recognise the volume part.

On external mode you will not see a Cross fader or volume control for each deck because this function will be done than from the external mixer where you connected both outputs of the sc. Regards Christian

Christian, thanks for trying to help me out too But for the last 3 months, I have had it on external mixer and it recognised the Cross fader and the sound was fine. However now, when I use the simple, dual or split, I can still hear the song playing on the channel that the Cross fader is not on. aaah, I am so sorry, I must sound very stupid! ha

Than I have a question: are you running Cross DJ on external mode with an external mixer? Or do you run Cross DJ with the Cross fader of the umc2 and the output is master and one for cue?
Could you please describe how you used it before like the following example: Running Cross DJ on external mixer mode and channel 1 from the output of U-Mix44 go to master and output two to headphone for cueing.
At the picture you post you have not set any output channel? Was it normal or only because setting up a new mode?
Regards Christian

If you are using Dual Stereo then the Outputs should be set as Output 1 - Output 1&2 (Main sound output) Output 2 - Output 3&4 (Headphones/PFL output)

Right, now I am using the Dual option. I can use the Cross fader and hear each individual channel. But now, the problem is I can always hear two songs in the head phones, It is constantly playing channel A even though I haven't selected the 'Headphone source A' button on the mixer.
