U-Mix44 Soundcard damaged?

Hi Guys,

There seems to be some problem with my u-mix44 sound card.
Have had it for a while with no problems, but now after doing a gig and setting up the equipment at home, I am having this problem as below.

I connect Turntable 1 to Input 1, and Turntable 2 to Input 2. The issue is that the output for both of these only comes out of Output 1!, There is no Output on number 2, and instead both of the tracks play to the 1 Output.

I can confirm that Mixvibes DVS7 picks up and registers the Turntables. I can successfully calibrate, but when playing the tracks both outputs is going to the one channel only!

is there something wrong with my device? Is it damaged?
Please help.

Hey,

Check the Output configuration of DVS. It could be that your output routine is set wrong. At the Carbon v2 skin at every deck is a number there should stand 01 and 02 on the specific deck. If there is both deck 1 it routes both decks to output 1.

That was spot on! Both virtual decks on the Laptop were pointing to Output 1.

The thing is that my Laptop is so small that the Skin does not display correctly and thus some settings are not visible. Your suggestion worked!
