It is getting better Daniel, but why should I have so many problems even getting support??

I give you and the team some questions that you may or may not wish to answer:

Why should it take me a week to get registered?

Why could I originally only post somewhere I wasn't supposed to?

If I cannot post in the forum I cannot ask for help!!

Why when it should have been obvious that I wasn't able to post was the only post I made locked?

I wanted to talk to technical support but I was told vaguely that the administrator would get back to me. No email support is available. Why?

Why has such a popular product not got a dedicated support team?

A forum is just support on the cheap in my opinion. Online chat would be a better & more up to date method of helping customers.

It seems you're afraid of, so NO we didn't create your problems on purpose !

dahurd wrote:I give you and the team some questions that you may or may not wish to answer:

I already gave you answers by PM...
I do not appreciate you come back here and ask the same questions again...

dahurd wrote:Why should it take me a week to get registered?

As already said, registration process bug.

dahurd wrote:Why could I originally only post somewhere I wasn't supposed to?

As already said, registration process bug.

Please note your issue has been sorted out since then!!!

dahurd wrote:If I cannot post in the forum I cannot ask for help!!

That's the forum rule! We do not want to spend time replying to guys who do not have a valid license...

dahurd wrote:Why when it should have been obvious that I wasn't able to post was the only post I made locked?

Because you were registered and continued to post on the wrong forum.

dahurd wrote:I wanted to talk to technical support but I was told vaguely that the administrator would get back to me. No email support is available. Why?

Come on, don't mix up the issues! The reply about someone who could contact you was about your registration issue (unable to post were you wanted). that's not support! MixVibes support is done via this forum, i can't see why this can be an issue...

dahurd wrote:Why has such a popular product not got a dedicated support team?

Ok, what are we doin there ???

dahurd wrote:A forum is just support on the cheap in my opinion. Online chat would be a better & more up to date method of helping customers.

Do you have any idea of what would cost an online forum? Or would you prefer to get support from some guys not being aware of what DJin is (as you can have for a web provider for instance)?? I don't think so.

So please remain polite and respect those who are trying to help you out!

Cheers,
SylMV

But they are different questions!!

Maybe you could look again? After all I am a customer and along with support I should be allowed to ask questions & receive answers to them.

What is the problem with asking questions? Surely that is what your forum is for!!

Server issue or users rights management (cookies)

Why could I originally only post somewhere I wasn't supposed to?

See previous answer.

If I cannot post in the forum I cannot ask for help!!

Now you can post.

Why when it should have been obvious that I wasn't able to post was the only post I made locked?

I read the other post, and at the end the reason why it is closed is clear :
Board index‹ SUPPORT (ENGLISH) ‹ U-Mix Control ‹ U-Mix Control Technical support
If I am in the place shown in the breadcrumb trail above I cant post a new topic?

Technical support :
product ? then this is me or any experienced user.
board ? i'm not an administrator nor a community manager and not a php expert so I can't be of any help on this side.

Why has such a popular product not got a dedicated support team?

A support team ? for a plug & play device ?

A forum is just support on the cheap in my opinion. Online chat would be a better & more up to date method of helping customers.

What would prefer ? Some chat application with a bot ? A call center with people that simply read the provided books to give you answer without even understand what it's all about ?

You are registred and you are now in the right forum.
Why you can't post before? Because of your brownser which didn't renew your cookie fast enough.
Why we don't have voice chat? Because it's a huge work to manage it seriously.
Sometimes when needed we may call you back or send pm message.
Why do you need a week to do a good setup? It depends of your computer, it's power and which background program are running.
We use generic audio drivers made by Microsoft, sometimes there are problems whith these drivers, conflicts with other devices as a webcam or previous usb sound cards, i think it's your problem now.
Did you read any post about this too common situation on this forum?

In all cases you need for best results to tune your windows config to priority to the background programs as asio used for audio is a background program.

Thank you UncleVibes that was the answer I expected. These problems with cookieS must be all to familiar to you and instead of marginalising people when they try to get support you should explain or change your forum software.

When you say:

I read the other post, and at the end the reason why it is closed is clear :

Board index‹ SUPPORT (ENGLISH) ‹ U-Mix Control ‹ U-Mix Control Technical support
If I am in the place shown in the breadcrumb trail above I cant post a new topic?

I STILL COULD NOT POST!!!

I added my software licence correctly in the correct place:

I STILL COULD NOT POST!!!

And also, if you are not an administrator or support representitive why do you not leave it to someone who is a company representetive with authority to reply? WHY GET INVOLVED?

And as to being a plug and play device it is but as there are lots of people in the forum having set up issues the software/hardware is not without its problems none is!

I think you can see that I have remained polite throughout & am only asking questions. It seems to me and has done throughout that you have an autocratic attitude and seem to treat customers as irritations to your day. We are not, we are customers, purchasers users and thus are providing you with a living.
