The crackling will not go away. Optimized my comp. Downloaded that game booster thing and didnt help.

It almost seem like too much power is going through the soundcard and its distorting.

I don't understand : crackling or peaking ?
Are these dropouts or saturation ?

Decreased volume, nothing. Here is a sample of the sound it is making. . .

I installed the drivers again and that didnt help either.

Very weird, it acts like a lost of sync on sampling clock or something like that.
Never seen this case.
Can you try the soundcard on another usb port or better an other computer ?

sorry support guy but Im tired of swapping ports and racking my brain over this. Ive tried changing buffer size. Tried changing settings. Tried optimizing my comp and deleting tons of things. It worked fine for the first week and since then it makes the crackle sound. When the songs get to a breakdown where the bass goes away it runs smoother but as soon as songs breaks out it distorts or crackles. My comp fits the requirements. It worked fine previously and now it doesnt work properly. I think mixvibes soundcard just doesnt like me. Im to the point of sending it back and going with maya or native instruments. This should be plug and play for the most part. Instead Its been giving me more headaches than anything else. Surely someone has had the same issue. Surely someone knows how to fix the issue. I dont know what else to do other than try a different brand. Im willing to give this a few more attempts and then Im done. So please get me some help. I just want to be able to spin again.

downloaded ASIO4ALL and now it works. Only issue is that it plays only out of output 1. It wont split the two decks in Numark Cue.

Well I just paused from typing to mess with it. Now I have it working great with ASIO4ALL. And as I type this it starts going out. Damn.

Just shut down Numark Cue and reopened it. Now it is working great. Let me see how long it will last.

Alright, I spun for a little bit and no issues. This is using the ASIO4ALL. I did notice at the end, when I plugged in my usb cordless mouse, it messed with the sound. Unplugged it and sound was fine. However when doing this using the U-Mix 44 driver the sound was the same, crackly.

So I set my settings in Numark Cue to use the ASIO4ALL driver. It is putting sound out through the U-Mix 44 in two seperate channels. So far so good as long as I dont plug in my cordless mouse. Which is fine. I can use the laptop mouse pad. I will try it all again later. Shutting down to let it chill and will see if it continues to work or if bugs out.

Mouse ?
I wouldn't think of that... I think that the usb is not strong on that computer.
Asio4all will accept easily de-connection and reconnection of the hardware or stream interruption, not the case of our drivers.
