Ok, I thing I got it now. You're not using the bundled asio drivers 'MixVibes ASIO U46mk2', the auto-select seems to only work with this driver not the ESI one.

almost ... in practice the software keeps track of your configuration last started ... if the last boot I used the audio on your laptop,,, the next reboot of the Cross, if I want to connect the U46, I have to reselect the ...
I was "MixVibes AsioU46mk2 v.3" downloaded from the download section.
I hope to be clear, since I use Google translator!

The built-in drivers for Cross are 'MixVibes ASIO U46MK2' they're in the bundled version of Cross and works as expected.
The drivers you have downloaded are 'MIXVIBES U46MK2 ASIO', from ESI and give the behavior you have described.
So as soon as you will uninstall them and reboot the soundcard, everything will be back to normal.

I do not find a remedy ....
download from the section of the forum: MIXVIBES ASIO U46MK2 v.3
download site by ESI: ESI U46 ASIO 2.0
download from: ASIO 4 ALL
all three have the same problem, apart from ASIO4ALL, which keeps the driver in memory just mentioned, but does not save channels!
will be 'a problem-based approach to Windows 7? but because 'everything was ok on 1.5.2??
I want to emphasize that it works perfectly and is 1.7 Cross' great software!
The problem came when I connect the USB to the U46 in the Laptop, not 'really that' much of a problem ... I lose only 10 more seconds' to re-select the sound card and channels!

You didn't read what I wrote :
it won't work with all these 3 MIXVIBES ASIO U46MK2 v.3 ESI U46 ASIO 2.0 ASIO 4 ALL
It will only work with the bundled drivers.

They're already into the cd version, so you only need to uninstall everything else and they should be on your system, unless you have installed directly from an update.
- uninstall all alternative drivers - install cd version if not already done

in the list of installed programs on your laptop, MixVibes Asio Driver does not appear ...
I tried to uninstall 1.2.5 Cross, but I have also removed the driver!
I noticed that inside the folder MIXVIBES, I have a folder 1.2.5 Cross and the folder 1.7.1, but only in the 1.2.5 folder and 'this in File: MixVibesASIOU46MK2.dll
Can I copy this file into the folder 1.7.1 ,and delete the 1.2.5 version??????
Or keep all 2 versions?? I think there are no conflicts! I hope that in future the Update automatically overwrite older versions!
Thanks for your patience
