Since I couldn't find an allround topic for adding remarks about the new Cross release, i'm creating a new one.
Before version 1.6 I could easily switch from one collection to another. And if I do it now, Cross stop playing the current song. I was playing on a live gig and really didn't like that change.
Could you please look into this for the future versions. Personally it's very important to switch from collections.
thanks

I experienced this when I tested Cross 1.6. Hopefully the team will look into this.

But if the option to change Collection is there, then IMO it should work as in previous versions of Cross. If not, then the option to change the Collection on the "fly" should be removed and let the new media management deal with this. Just my thoughts

i prefer working with a collection per genre (since it's 3-4), and within that collection i use the playlist, smartlist. I understand the possibility to have everything within one collection, but i prefer not. If it used to work like that, it should stay working like that. I encountered this during a live gig and was not pleased.

The new one is a huge database and isn't meant for the same use. Now what you want to do is having a collection with massive playlists or node dock shortcuts, just a new way of working.
You can do a playlist per genre and then, made a shortcuts of the 3-4 genre/playlist to the node dock so you can change content on the fly.

thanks for your reply.
It took me about 60 hours to filter my huge amount of music ...AGAIN! So I have now 1 collection with 6 folders for each genre. Within each folder i have about 3/4 subgenres, so I can know which songs fit.
Why can't there be a tree menu functionality. For example: Mainfolder = URBAN Subplaylists/folders = Hiphop, Rnb, Dancehall, Mashup....
And if I want the combined list of all 4 of the subplaylists, I just need to select the mainfolder and i see a list of all songs of those 4 subplaylists. Or another possibility would be to create a smartlist with all songs out of playlist A, playlist C and playlist F. I need to have a list of music with a combination of multiple playlists. Now I can go to 'Music...', but I see ALL songs.
I hope you understand what I mean.

What about a smart playlist with all folders/playlists rules into one ?
