Since I have bought my U-Mix Control Pro, I have had nothing but problems. The music skips and stutters, and the effects work when they want to. I'm am only a beginner admittedly but am feeling really disapppointed because I can't learn anything with the poor quality I am getting from this product.

hey,
You have to register the serial from the sleeve. At your personal profil is an serial section there you have to insert this serial and then you are registered and you should be able to access the download section.
I hope it is clear enough? regards Christian

Hey,
how do you registered your Cross DJ license? at the first startup it asked you to insert it otherwise it will not start. And If you lost your serial it is not as good. You can ask some of the mixvibes Team about it but normaly they can't help you out if you lost your serial. Check your cd Sleeve not the package iself it should stand on a little white label at the cd sleeve. Check it if not you should contact support@mixvibes or some of the other mixvibes stuff if they can help you out.
regards Christian

hey,
good your key is now in the system so you are also able to download the newest version. Currently the newest is 1.6.1 and if you want to test the newest release candidate you can also try the 1.7RC but you should use at live gigs the official version.
Is it with the 1.6.1 version still not working? please check this.
Regards Christian

Hi,
I have now downloaded the newest version and this has made things better and the effects are working but the music still stutters when the program is multi tasking such as playing while analysing another tune or loading another tune?
Thanks,
Tom

Idealy, you should analyse all your tracks before they are played. The stutter can be a few things. but it sounds like to me that your ASIO buffer is set to low for your system specs. I haven't got a U-Mix Control Pro, so I don't know where the ASIO buffer option is, but I would guess it's in the unit's control panel Lastly, is your Laptop/PC optimised for DJ use. there are a few guides floating around the web for this. Here is one a basic one from Hercules you could follow http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00364.pdfHope this helps
