It´s even with corrected gains.

from a pure audible pov the new gain-analysis is really good, but the vu-meters should be hidden
you know what i mean?
though it´s digial-processing and there´s most likely no quality-loss with less gain it´s just really odd to look at.

ya i like that idea no vu meter but it would be nice for recording though

Instead of a master knob, what would you say about a preferences to set master output ?
0dB by default (so for ones that don't care it is ok) and you can input value as you wish from 0 to -something.
