All of a sudden Cross DJ doesn't work with my controller anymore. If I try to duplicate the MC3000 mapping, Cross DJ says it will make a copy of the U-Mix Control. Most of the buttons don't work at all, the crossfader does something completely different like scratching. Deleted the software and reinstalled it again. Controller works as it should with other software. I'm using a MacBook Pro. Any ideas?

There's no license key to register and Cross DJ normally works with the Denon MC3000 out oft the box, no need to choose a mapping, but still I've highlighted the correct one. The only thing I tried to change was to map a certain function to a certain button, which has worked fine at first. It's not possible to change or delete the original mappings, so it should be fine. After facing the problem I deleted my copied mapping but it didn't change the misbehavior. At the moment everything works fine again, but I can't tell why and want to prevent that it might happen again, especially in a live situation.

My guess is that there has been a power issue with the usb port having had a minor power dip.
It's the latest version, I guess (3.3.11) and I don't believe in a usb port problem, cause Djay Pro and Traktor worked fine. Plugging it of and on didn't solve the problem, reboot neither.

screen shot of the MIDI mapping page with the selected map hightlighted ,, also in the instruction manual the procedure for duplicating a map and editing it for altering/adding controls is there and pretty informative , in your original posting the mention of the U-Mix map doesnt make sence thats why asked about mapping selected ,

I don't have a U-Mix Control. When you duplicate a mapping the copy of it has the same name as the original plus a 1 in brackets. You can change its name if you want. That's what I did at first place. When facing the problem I deleted the copy, restarted the software, switched the controller off and on and restarted my MacBook but still it didn't work. When I tried to make a new copy of the Denon MC3000 mapping, the software tried to duplicate the mapping of the U-Mix only and didn't let me change it, as if there were no other mappings. Hope you know what I mean, cause english is not my mother tongue and it's a little difficult to find the right explanation. Thx for your advice to register the software via the iTunes bill I'll do that as soon as I receive it.
