Lets say that you have 2 different model controllers
Controller A and Controller B

You mapped controller A using shift logic modifiers ML1, ML2, ML3, and ML4.
You also mapped the output section to make sure that all LEDs respond correctly even when using modifiers.

You plug in controller A and everything works great.

Now Controller B is mapped not using any modifiers and it works perfectly all by itself.

If you plug it in at the same time as controller A, every time you use a modifier all LED will die.

Modifiers are global and affect all connected controllers at the same time. ML1 on Controller A will set the condition globally so if you mapped controller B to also use ML1 the condition will be set in that controller two.

In summary, unless you are well experienced in mapping conditions, DO NOT USE THE SAME MODIFIERS FOR DIFFERENT CONTROLLERS

I don't mean to shout just a clear warning. Also make sure the conditions set in one controller are also taken into account on the output section of the second controller or your LEDs won't work on the second controller.

Basically, if I have three modifiers in A and 3 in B , I have to replicate the six combinations of modifiers ( + - 30 )? so if I have more than 2 controllers type C and D would not have modifiers available?

You could use the same modifiers as long as the conditions are momentary (only set while a button is press). logic says you only have 2 hands (do you?, just kidding LOL) so you will be pressing a modifier button and another function key.

If your modifiers are toggle ( press to set on , press to turn off) then you have to map conditions on the input and output sections with all controllers and conditions correctly mapped.

It is not impossible, I have mapped 8 logic modifiers and can use 4 controllers at the same time. The good thing about this is that you only need one map to control multiple controllers of the same type.

ok thanks , but unfortunately not the best , it complicates the mapping , it would be correct to follow the input with global modifiers and modifiers linked to the channel (not sure if even traktor works well , but I'll do a test )

I understand, A quick tip that at least work for me is to 1st map all functions that you want working all the time as those do not require modifiers.

Then in a piece of paper right down the functions that you want to work with conditions.

Take one function at a time, define the condition you want, then define the possible condition combination that contain your base condition. Once it is clear on paper, then map the function.

Move on to the next conditional function.
