Newbie Setup/Growing Pains

Hello -
Mixvibes newbie here -
So I just received my Vfx Control and software. Last week I set everything up and got started:
FIRST, I let Vfx Analyize my media files. Or attempt to anyway;
I don't have a HUGE mediabase - approx 20,000 mp3's and approx 1000 videos, and Vfx would just crash anytime I set it to analyize anything more that 65 to 70 items. it took me nearly 2 days to get everything scanned so it could be used, and I only did the essential things I knew I would need for my gig.
Did I miss something, or is this just a bug in the software?
SECOND, the software crashed 3 times on me while performing over the weekend, luckily at intervals where it was not noticable to the crowd...
Are there suggestions or tips & tricks as to how to set up your machine for maximum performance? I noticed alot of my problems stemmed from turning Visualizations on and off while video was faded to black.
Are there special codecs I should install? Perhaps I have some I should remove? Should I do a clean install of Windows 7 and install Vfx Under the (Hidden) Administrator account in Win 7 instead of a user account with administrative privleges?
THIRD I also had the controler freeze up on me TWICE requiring either restarting the software or rebooting the computer entirely. Not good at a gig.
I hope stability issues can be addressed, and updates will continue to be released quickly. This is not an inexpensive product. Also, On a side note, the lack of support for the product concerns me given it's price. You need a team handling things in the US in order to provide faster responses to inquiries to problems on this side of the world. You also manufacture a product that is used by folks who work evenings and weekends - when support is likely to be needed MOST - make it available. PM's don't even get answered quickly. Also, files that are supposed to be available to users (i.e. "VISUAL VIBES") are inaccessable because they are hosted on a file sharing site which has been confiscated by the FBI, pending investigation. Please Make the files available elsewhere.
