Hallo to everybody. As long Time now i playing now with my DVS and Timecode Vinyl. But i start to change something in my Setup. I was seen those two Controllers DN-SC 3900 and DN-SC2900 and my question now is that in the description of the Denon they say that they will support the 1,2 KHz Timecode Signal.
So is there any Planing that i can use Cross with those Controllers. Will be there a mapping for this two Hot parts. I was seen them and they are amazing. But i will not be family with the Denon Software Engine. So i was think that i can combination between Denon and Mixvibes Cross.
Is there somebody with experience about this Controllers. If so i will be happy to get any help that i can start into my plan to get me those two Controllers.
Thanks Poertsch

They work, but afaik i know only in relative mode, which isn“t really a problem since you can seek&beatjump with them.

The 3700 is already mapped and when I have tested quickly the 3900 was having the same MIDI commands and was working (not 100% match with the 3700 so need some work on our side).
You just need to set the timecode for the hybrid mode to 3Khz into the deck preset, choose the MIDI channel and you're done. Note that the hybrid mode will introduce 'stickers drift' on heavy/frequent scratching.

So it seems that those two Players are working very well with Cross. I was thinking now a long time about the step to change to Controller only. It was hard for me because I am totally Old-school with Vinyl and 1210 MK2. But now i work with DVS7 and with Cross and in the development of the controllers there a big steps into future. So i want to Cross between Turntable and Controller. And i think that those Denon's are very cool for people like me to use it as an Turntable and as an Controller by him self. I hope that i urn little mor money because 1800Euro for 2 Controllers are very heavy. But i think i will go into it.
But witch one will be now the best. 3900 or 2900 ?
Thanks

Didn't have the 2900 in hands till now, but for me 2900 is cheaper and the jog could be managed in MIDI mode (tighter control), so no need for hybrid.
The 3700/3900 hybrid mode is a work around for not handling rotating platter into application. Static plater like most of DJ MIDI controler are well known and handled easily.
On the other hand if you want the rotating vinyl feel, I can understand for the 3900, but are your really a scratch head ? If not, useless imo.

I am am not a Scratch head if so i will use my 1210MK2's so I think the 2900 will the Part that i plan to buy. Because to point is how you say that I can adjust everything and i can use it in Hybrid Modus.
Question to Mixvibes Development will you plan to update the mappings for a 2900 in coming future. Or I have to work the mapping finally by my self that it will work 100%
Thank you

If you're going with the 2900, full MIDI (include jog) would be better imo than hybrid.
As soon as I will put my hands on a 2900 I'll do the mapping. For now we have sent a request to Denon and waiting...
