In addition Cross uses a Quantise and Snap feature that allows you to set the way to make transitions relative to the beat (1/8 to 16 beats). Meaning the track or action starts to match(sync) with the set accuracy.
So it's like Mixmeister which has always used "snap to beat" which helps, I do fully understand not every tune even with the same or close bpm will beatmatch right out off the bat but for the most part if the waveform can display a standard color for the bass beats this will be helpful for me, meaning if for example in all tunes the bass beat is the color "blue", then I can know exactly where in the tune to line up with the existing playing tune, can Cross do this?
Virtual DJ has the 4 blocks in it's waveform with the first and biggest block supposed to be the first downbeat but that doesn't work for the most part, the first downbeat can be on any of those blocks so one will still need a headphone to know.
