Hey guys, first thing, it is really hard to find Cross vinyl out there, i had to purchase the whole DVS (with software, which i do not need from what xone says as it can control vinyl) which i am waiting for but while testing i found a few issues that i caanot find answers to.
when i play a track on Cross le, i cannot adjust the gain. understandable as it is software but with external mixer cue (as recommended by xone) i cannot seem to find individual gain controls, where can they be enabled?
when i get the DVS, would i be able to use my mixers gain control for the tracks?

amazon.com and www.soundservice.de for vinyl..... If you use the 'external mixer' options Cross will send out at 'line level' as this is default input for your mixer, just as any other device would. One of the analysis features is leveling the volume of tracks. If you have tracks that are really 'off' you can adjust the track gain. You can use the info node or make the field visible in the grid.

thanks for your reply, all of the vinyl on soundservice seem to be out of stock, and amazon sells it too expensive and only promises to deliver in january. any retailers in uk that sell it?
in regards to the track gain, i have checked traktor and it seems when you use ecternal mixer it allows you to adjust the gain, or the signal sent to the mixers channel independently, is that not the case in Cross then?

I have registered the software, but when i was downloading the software, it was from mixvibes website so i guess it was up to date.
To explain a bit more, the way it works (so i understood) is if i use the soundcard it uses the third channel from inside that is also routed into the mixers ½ channels. Mixer only has gain for channels ½ but not this "3rd" one which is coming from the computer. What i am trying to say is - on a two fader mixer i can have 6 inputs - 2 phono 2 line 2 computer inputs. I cannot control gain for the computer, i can only control line and phono inputs. Therefore for me to adjust gain i need to do it on the computer unfortunately, however when i use the external mixer cue mode recommended by xone, the gain on the software is changed to effects. I was wondering if the DVS option would do the same, as it is still using the same soundcard. When i lower the gain on a turntable with control vinyl, does that affect the gain of the track on Cross?
