Perhaps obvious to you but just to check my understanding I am making couple statements below and please correct me if I am wrong.
While selecting a loop lenght before activation you can select any loop lenght with the + or - including the new 1/3 loop.
While the loop is activated the + and - halves or doubles the loop loop acting as multiple or divisor of 2.
