DAC-2 and mixvibes

Postby maddogbeast on 28 Mar 2010, 20:29

I've been using a Numark DMC-1 for about 10 years with no problems. I picked up a DAC-2 and can not get it to work. It dispalys the running time numbers if I start the tune with the mouse but no controls on the DAC-2 do anything. Any suggestions on how to get this to work? Is there any updated driver for Mixvibes?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi maddog,

I don't have any experience with the DAC-2, but I'm sure somebody around here does. I just noticed that you've been around since '04, so you'll have to re-input your serial number into your profile and grab the latest update (7.3). The only other thing I can thing of would be to grab the latest DAC-2 drivers here: http://www.pcdj.com/index.php/support/drivers.

*On a side note, make sure you have your controller plugged in before you start MV and that you've activated it within the software.

Hope this helps,
Phaded

Thanks,

It was great to see MixVibes represented at the DJ Show in AC,NJ this year. I've looked at other software but MixVibes has always out preformed the others both in sound and features.

Keep up the good work.
