Discover DJ + Headphone

Postby Marienusz on 27 Mar 2010, 13:00

Hey everyone,

I bought the Discover DJ a few months ago, practised a bit and now i want to add headphones but I've got no idea how i can do this.
I've got an: Acer Aspire 5310 (with Windows 7)
I've also got a M-Audio FastTrack mix-thing Image (don't know if I'll need this?)

Can you help me add my headphones to the D-DJ AND be able to use it live?

Or you can try to "make" one with asio4all : fasttrack + internal soundcard.

I'll try that, but if that doesn't work, would something like this: Image be good enough?
using my internal sound card as speaker and this external one as headphone?

thx

thx for the welcome :D
Soundcard on me Acer Aspire 5310: (I don't know much about soundcards, but i'll tell you as much as I can)
At the "sound menu" I can select between: Speakers
(Realtek High Defenition Audio, Standard)
Realtek Digital Output
(Realtek High Defenition Audio, Ready)
At this picture you can see it's outputs etc. very clearly http://images.icecat.biz/img/norm/high/937795-5332.jpg
Second souncard I posted (in my previous post, I'll have to translate it, because the website is in Dutch).
USB-Headset-Adapter

If you want, except the normal speakers, also attach a headset to your PC this stereostick is the best solution.
Speakers and Microphone can be connected easily.
You don't need another soundcard, just USB.

Highlights

Speaker-/ Headsetoutput (stereo) and mic-input.
Can also be used for Skype and other VoIP-providers.

I've already installed Asio4All V2, but I tried all the ways to connect the Discover DJ with it using my Fast Track as output 1, and using my Speaker output as output 2, but it looked very impossible.

I hope this is enough info!
thx

  what sc is asio 4all reconizing if you see more than one then the possibilities are there, my config is the onboard sc and a usb sound doggle provided with home 7 ,seem similiar to the picture minus the mic input, i had to play around with the sound card config to get the best solution,if asio reconizes two seperate sc then you can highlight ,activate them in the asio control panel and in the Cross asio panel select the proper out put and config to get it to work,    keep playing around and you might be able on your own to get it untill someone else can give you more clearer directions

THX FOR ALL THE HELP, IT WORKED :D
I used my Speakers as the first output, and my Fast Track device as the second using Asio4All!
