Microsoft Xp vs Vista vs Win 7

Postby Pamishelis on 26 Mar 2010, 00:32

Heya.I've been using DVS 7.21 on my PC for quite a while and i've had no problems using it on XP, but a few days a go i've bought a new laptop so i could be a lil' bit more mobile :)

However the question is : which of these 3 OS works best with mixvibes DVS 7.21 ? Thanks.

Here are the spec.

2.2 Ghz processor
250gb HardDrive
3GB RAM

I think that win 7 and xp are the best for MV products - Vista seems to bog down a lot.
Win7 seems to work well for newer PC's (Unclevibes uses it with no problems)
I use xp as i have an older system, and some of my PC's drivers are not compatible with Win7 (but it would still work with Win7).
Most new PC's come with WIN7 so should be fine if u use that OS (just i'd suggest stay away from Vista! ) ;)
Cheers

XP and Seven : run away from Vista !

Seven is better on newer architecture, but on old specs computer it is a bit slower than XP but nothing that could put you in trouble.

On a side note it can be hard to found drivers for Seven (Vista) for old specs computers.

Been running Windows 7 (32bit) on my gig machine since the beginning of last November and haven't had any problems with it :)

I've used DJ software on XP, Vista and Win 7 and I can say I do prefer to use Windows 7
