how to hear from speakers and headphones U-Mix44??

basically when im mixing i can only hear the music through the headphones connected in my mixer, how can i make it so i can hear my music through my mixer but the main feed through my speakers?

On the U-Mix 44 you've got to 2 pairs of outputs L1&R1 and L2&R2.

So each pair is connected to a channel of your external mixer.
L1R1 go to channel A
L2R2 go to channel B

Now your mixer act like it would with 2 cd decks instead that you just have a soundcard as source.

Where you missed the point is in the audio routing of the "other software" you're using. You shouldn't select internal mixing but external.
