wanted to know more about MIDI can i assign 2 things on one

Postby dj_cross_fade on 19 Mar 2010, 02:47

so i have tryed using my mpd 24 with vdj ,live, mixvibes, traktor and my mpd 24 is dead i did buy it used and im sending it back .

its to bad i relay did love this thing .im going to get a new one very soon .
away way i wanted to know if i can assign 2 things to one button, knob,or fader so this is what i mean ,

for my faders i would love if i can use them as a eq for deck a and b at the same time i would love it if i can control the fx for deck a and b.

this is what i mean . 3 faders on the left hand side would be for deck a .the 3 on the right is for deck b .

3 faders per deck would be bass mids and highs for each deck and the fx knobs for each deck

can i do that cause i could in vdj back when i was using it and man i used to love that when it worked

It's not natively possible, but with MIDIOX or Bome's I could see it happening.

I've mentioned it to Tony before, I really like being able to map multiple things.
