Hello, im about positive that i have connected everything right but i still get a message saying "no input signal on the left connection. please check the connections." what am i doing wrong!!! im only setting up the right turntable so why would it even be saying anything about my left connection when im clearly trying to calibrate the right turntable. im confused!

Hi azn,

Double check to make sure your needle on the left is in properly and isn't dirty.

Hope this helps,
Phaded

Think of the pitch setting to zero!

timecode use both left & right channel. If one channel is dead then any time code control is impossible.

The error message you get really means the signal is "unbalanced", the signal power on the left channel being far lower (almost silence if not) than on the right one.

You really need to check your "connections" and ensure neither the TT output, nor the RCA cables, nor the u46 input are defective.

Cheers,

EDIT: The "left connection" is not the left TT but the left channel of the stereo TT connection (the white connector) !!!

Good luck with your mission bro!.... the thing with T1200s (im assuming this is what you have as your problem is common, but this applies to ALL hardwired rca TT's) is that because you cant remove the cables on factory models, after time they stuff up if you plug them in and out of mixers, ect...
My soloution was to hardwire some 'Male' rca inputs onto the back of the 1200, then you can plug and unplug replacement cables, and not revisit this situation. Easier to just get another cable, then have to open the thing up over and over (after the second time, it happened at a gig, i was over it)!!
Works a treat for my decks ;)
Cheers

Just incase you didnt see this post on your other similar thread ;)

Is there a shop near your area you can take it in to have it checked out?
