[solved!]Unable to launch Producer, even after reinstall

Hi,
When I try launching Producer I receive error message "the serial number is not correct". I've uninstalled, deleted all files/folders and reg keys I can find and reinstalled, tried reset.exe - but I keep getting the same error.
This started happening after installing Cross 1.25.

Any ideas how I can fix this without having to reinstall windows?

Reinstall must be done in 2 steps.
Your cd then the update
I don't think it has something to do with Cross 1.25 (last update 1.31)

Thank you for the quick reply. I can't find my CD (which was a DVS2 CD if I remember correctly). Can you tell me which downloads I need and which order I need to install them?

Hi. You should be able to DL the latest (or older) Producer release on the right side menu (board index)on your screen now - under "downloads". The updates can be installed as new installs also (this method as far as i know works with DVS7).
Dont think you can obtain a link to your original CD content
(Unless Uncle Vibes has provided you with this information in his PM to you)

Sadly not - the updates for Producer available in the download section are just updates. I bought my Producer license as a DVS upgrade, and at the time was sent a link to an update file (about 40mb) which did successfully upgrade DVS7 to Producer (I think, I've certainly never had a Producer cd/iso). However that link is now dead, I can't find the file I originally downloaded, and the updates available here don't work.
