Recording mixes

Postby Fant0m on 02 Mar 2010, 13:19

Hello everybody!

I would like to record my own mixes. I got a Numark 950 DM mixer 2 tt and use mixvibes with timecode venyls. I guess the problem is that there is only one master out at my mixer. Is there any possibility to record my mix anyway?

Thanks in advance and best regards!

Hi Fant0m,

You could always use two Y-split cables on the master out; feed one L/R into a RCA -> Mini jack (which would then go plug into your laptop), feed the other into your speakers. If you do this, start with your output down all the way, then gradually find a volume that is nice.
