i cant say for sure without some more information from you,

what version of Cross LE do you have?

but it is likely that the problem has been already or will be fixed in the near future. LE versions to not qualify for updates meaning you will not benefit from any advancements or fixes in the more recent updates.

upgrading will also unlock further features of the software and extra support for external hardware.

regards,
Bryan

Bryan I have downloaded 1.3 from the site. When I backspin it just sounds horrible and when loading a track the music playing skips as if I dont have enough ram but I have 1GB of ram on XP.

sound issues can be caused by more than just a lack of ram, in fact, ram is very rarely the cause of audio issues, more often than not the problem is caused by the lack of cpu to run at the set asio latency.

also, without getting too technical... the type and quality of the MIDI controller can have a massive effect of the audio reproduction during vinyl type manipulation...

try dial back your latency n see how you get on.

Bryan
