Registration HELP PLEASE!!

I got the Discover DJ for my son for christmas and he has been using it for about a month now and today it asked for the registration key again for some reason. But my son lost the cd case that contained the registration key. Does this mean he cannot use it anymore? Please help me. He really likes to uses this.

Well I did my best to retrieve your original key. Unfortunately it's not registered in your profile. Did you retrieve your setup CD?

Yes I do have the original setup cd but not the sleeve that it came in....

I called the ion tech support people and the gave me a registration key so i was able to get back on. thanks for your help though...
