DJRicardoA, bear with us, as all we are doing is trying to help. The problem does not lie with the software, but generally your configuration itself. To me it appears the input volume of the Sound card, in Windows, and NOT Cross, is set too high. This is quite simple to change however as I run a Mac I can not write you a step by step guide. Hopefully however, I shall install Windows tomorrow and try to recreate the problem myself.

Don't forget to set your U-Mix 44 Sound Card as default configuration in Windows (sometimes, we can forget this).
Else, as others said, play with Microphone Volume Level control to calibrate your timecodes correctly. Verify that nothing is set to "Mute". If necessary, disable your old sound card : Only U-Mix 44 must be used (I had Windows 7 with DVS 7 and U-Mix 44 was set as my default configuration, all worked). Verify sound parameters in your Asio configuration panel : drivers must be activated in Asio.
